Investor Hub Mutual Fund - $ECIG $AZFL $MCIG $PLKD $GRDO

If there were a mutual fund that held stocks that were widely followed and watched on Investor Hub stock forums, that stocks that would represent that would include $ECIG, $AZFL, $MCIG, $PLKD, and $GRDO among others.

What do you all think, would this be a good investment?  I think it has potential if someone created a portfolio to capitalize on these penny stocks for potential gains.

Analyst Remarks - Are $MCIG and $ECIG Going to Merge?

Now, there has been no formal speculation about whether or not ECIG and MCIG will merge.  I wanted to point out, however that these two companies are winning in gaining revenue among the small OTC stocks.  A merger would form a formidable company with good growing revenues to move forward and potentially compete against larger companies.  What do you all think about this?  Do you think it is possible?  Do you think these two companies could seriously consider a merger?

Disclosure, I am long ECIG and MCIG.

$MCIG and $CLF Up Big Today - Analyst Predictions

I am long both MCIG and CLF and these two stocks are top picks of this stock blog.  I have predicted that they are great stocks to be in a portfolio, and I believe both names are still extremely undervalued.  Please subscribe to here and read the other articles with even more details on these two great companies.

Undervalued OTC Stocks January 2015 $ECIG $MCIG $ERBB

For January 2015, out of all of the OTC stocks, I have selected ECIG, MCIG, and ERBB as my top undervalued picks going into the new  year.

I own shares in these names and believe that they provide a chance for massive increases in share prices.  Based on how they have traded lately, I believe the business models support a much higher price per share.

Undervalued Stocks for 2015

Going into 2015, out of stocks that I own, there are some that I think are very undervalued.

I think PBR, ITUB, RIO, T, and DTV are all at bargain share prices right now.

These are undervalued for various reasons that will be detailed more here in the coming days and weeks.

Jack Ma's Celebrity Status Feeds $BABA Stock $FB Zuckerberg

For both Facebook and Alibaba, the celebrity status enjoyed by both Jack Ma and Mark Zuckerberg, as CEOs of each company helps feed the stock price and brand recognition of the companies.

In addition to growing sales that the companies enjoy, the fact that these CEOs are so well known helps enhance the value of the companies even more.  Heck they even make collectible dolls of Jack Ma, and he is one of the most well known people in the world.  Zuckerberg is a well known philanthropist, and is revered as being a young CEO leading a company on the cutting edge of technology.

Look for more of good things from Facebook and Alibaba in the years to come.

Comparing $BABA to $FB - Analyst Update

Shares of Alibaba, ticker symbol BABA, have stalled recently from the gains it was piling up a month or two ago.  If it follows in the footsteps of FB, it will take awhile to start racking up significant gains from the IPO price.

I think Alibaba is poised to benefit from strong sales growth, and that the large majority of this is not yet priced into the stock.  I am glad to hold my long position in BABA because I am confident that it will increase in price over the long term.

$PBR $RIO $ITUB Stocks Undervalued

Today I wanted to focus on three stocks that I see as being completely undervalued.

Petrobras, PBR, Rio Tinto, RIO, and Itau, ITUB are all between at least 30% to 50% off of their 52 week highs.  Additionally, as it is, the 52 week highs are even further below their all time highs.  In essence, these stocks have years of upside to go before they will approach all time highs.  This can happen fast though, as stock markets have a tendency to correct very quickly in one direction or another.

That being said, I view these as long term picks and that it will take a long-term view to make money in these.

For investors new to these stocks, now is a great time to buy.  For those that already own shares, I would take a wait and see approach.

I am long all of these shares in full disclosure.

The added bonus here is that as of this year, they are all paying generous dividends.  For next year, I expect Itau and Rio Tinto to raise dividends because of growing earnings.  Petrobras is the unknown here but I still expect a great dividend.

Analyst Buys Shares of Nike $NKE Today

Today, the owners of this blog purchased shares of Nike, ticker symbol NKE.  The stock was noted by Jim Cramer recently as not having participated in the large rally the stock market has seen in the past few days.  This is particularly noticed by me because the high of the year is over $99 per share.  With shares at around $96 per share, there is already a nice discount.  Also, with Holiday sales, I expect Nike will do very well.

This stock, along with Amazon (AMZN), is going to be a big winner this holiday season IMO.

Disclosure, long NKE and AMZN.

Analyst Stock Picks - $ECIG and $AZFL

In picking stocks here, I gave out a winning opinion on $CTIX to start last month.  It went up at least 30%.  Then, I followed that with $AZFL and sold out of it myself in about a day for about a 30% gain.

My pick for this week is $ECIG again.  I picked it last week and it rose over 50% but the week before, it started on Friday down a lot.  As a result, I still think it is very undervalued and think that it can easily go to .18 per share or higher this week.  I am picking it for the next week and am making it this week's top play on this site.

Please note, this is not investment advice, just my opinion.  I am long ECIG.

Undervalued Stocks Perking Up This Week $PBR $T $RIO $VALE

So far this week, many stocks that were poor performers in recent weeks are starting to rise in price again.

Today, shares of VALE are up over 6%, a welcome rise for the iron ore giant.  This also is the case with Rio Tinto, ticker symbol RIO, as shares were down to almost $40 per share but are back over $45 per share.

T is also doing better, as it had traded as low as around $32 with a dividend yield of 5.8%.  Now it is back over $33 and still has a relatively high dividend yield compared to its historical yield.

Petrobras is also showing signs of life, with PBR rallying this week after hitting multi year lows.

These are stocks to watch going forward.  I am long all of these shares.

Fundamentals of $ECIG - Stock Potential Rise

In this post, we will look at the fundamentals and stock price of ECIG.

The 52 week low is .05 per share and the high is $19.99.   Today, about 16 million shares have changed hands which is a strong volume day, much higher than normal.  You can see by the shares traded that this is not a heavily diluted stock.  It does not trade in the hundreds of million shares that many OTC stocks do, simply because there is not wild dilution here apparently.

With this strong volume today on a price increase, I expect ECIG to rise more.  Also, this is due to what I see as a strong business model and growing market share and revenue - it simply is undervalued IMO.

If you like the posts and if they help you, please consider shopping on Ebay and Amazon here through the links provided - it does not cost you anything.

Long ECIG.

$ECIG Opinion Updated - Stock Market

Today, I wanted to release my updated opinion on ECIG.  I am long ECIG and recommended it this week for at least a one week play.  Since then, it has had a monster week.

My updated opinion is that I believe it has another 50% or more to rise in the short term.  While it is rising today, I do not believe that it went up as much as it could have this week and as a result, I am recommending holding it for at least another week.

Please note, I am long ECIG.

Midday Wrap - $ECIG $AZFL $RIO $PBR

So far, the calls for $RIO and $PBR to rise are ringing true, as they are bouncing back somewhat from their recent routs.  Please note, I am long $ECIG, $PBR, and $RIO.

$AZFL is down to .0017 today, and I sold out of this one already but am still looking at it because it does have potential in my opinion.

$ECIG is the play of the week still, and it may take longer than a week but I like it a lot.

US Stock Market Rise $SPX $EBAY $KRFT

Today, the stock market is up big with blue chip names showing big gains.  Among stocks gaining, we have the S&P 500 index funds obviously, along with Kraft Foods enjoying a big day.

Also, other winners include Altria, Vodafone, AT&T and many others.

Please subscribe to this undervalued stock picks blog using the side right bar that has a place to subscribe, and share these posts on Twitter and Facebook.

Chinese Market Rising $CHL $BACHY

Bank of China and China Mobile are up sharply this morning in earlier trading on the Hang Seng Index.

US Stock Futures in the Green $SPY $SPX $DJIA

The S&P 500 futures along with the Dow Jones and Nasdaq futures this evening heading into 12/18/2014 trading are looking higher so far.  They are up slightly.

Stocks That Could Rise 20% In 2 Weeks $PBR $PBR.A $ITUB $RIO $ECIG

Today I wanted to highlight some stocks that I think are low risk and that could rise 20% in 2 weeks.  Please note, I am long all of these stocks.

PBR and PBR.A pay a high dividend yield, yet are trading around $7 per share.  The dividend yield is high and these have been beaten down so much that I think a 20% rise in 2 weeks is realistic.

Same with Rio Tinto, RIO.  The stock may also pay a special dividend in February of 2015.

ITUB, Itau, also can do the same and is trading at a bargain price.

ECIG is the blog's play of the week - top pick here.

$ECIG Up 80% Today - One Week Stock Play

I was right on the money today with my top weekly pick of ECIG.  The stock is currently up about 80%.  Please note, I am long ECIG and this pick is not to be construed as investment advice, but rather as my opinion.

I note that I pick this as a weekly play, meaning I personally am holding it through at least Friday as I think it will rise all week.  The run is not over in my opinion.

$SPY Futures Higher. Nasdaq up Big - $AAPL $AMZN $BABA

With the S&P 500 Futures looking higher for Monday, you would think that is a good sign.  If you take a look at the NASDAQ futures, they are currently up 18 or so points.   This bodes even stronger for the market to make a comeback from Friday.

Stocks that could gain from this include Apple, Amazon, and Alibaba.  These stocks are undervalued in my opinion and stand to benefit from strong holiday sales which I believe we will have.

The futures will have to hold these gains going into tomorrow, but so far this evening they have strengthened, which is another good sign.

I am long AAPL, AMZN, BABA.

Undervalued Penny Stocks $ECIG $MCIG $ERBB $AZFL $GRDO

For December 15, 2014 (Monday), and the week coming, I have some stocks I want to recommend to investors because I believe that these will be the plays of the week.

For my strongest play of the day and the week, I believe ECIG is the way to go.  The price drop cannot be explained and I think it is overly sold.  In my previous posts over the last couple of days, I have explained why I think it is undervalued and also about how I believe if it is bought out, that it will jump in price.

Please remember, with penny stocks and OTC stocks, they can be volatile.  My other pick this week is mCig, and I believe it will rise in price significantly as well.

Another pick I like is ERBB, as I believe it has been stagnant for too long and I believe we will see another bull market in marijuana penny stocks again soon.

As for AZFL, I sold out of my position last week.  That does not mean that I do not see potential for further gains, because I do.  However I also think that the opportunity in ECIG warrants selling AZFL to buy ECIG.

I am also watching GRDO as I think it has some potential for short term gains too.

Disclosure, I am long ECIG, MCIG, and ERBB.

Undervalued International Dividend Stocks $PBR $PBR.A $RIO $ITUB $BACHY

In this post I would like to highlight the best international stocks that I see for dividend investing and potential capital gains in what I see is an inevitable rebound of these top names.  The also are leaders in their industries but are suffering from macroeconomic and stock market pressure right now.

Petrobras, ticker symbol PBR and PBR.A is suffering from internal pressures right now, to go with additional pressures from falling oil prices.  The fact remains that despite this, the company is making a lot of money and paid its preferred shareholders a .77 per ADR dividend this year.  That makes it current yield close to 10% and I believe this stock is very undervalued and will perform well in the long-term.

Itau, ticker symbol ITUB, is growing its dividend as well and is another top name in Brazil.  I see its growing earnings and also think that it will continue to raise its dividend.  I view this as a strong play to profit from an uptick in the Brazilian economy, which will happen sooner or later.

Rio Tinto, ticker symbol RIO, pays a healthy dividend and has grown earnings this year.  It is a leader in the iron ore business but has suffered from falling commodity prices.  This has lead them to up production and take market share from smaller players.  This will help long-term, and there is a possibility for a special dividend in February of 2015 to sweeten the pot for waiting.

Bank of China, $BACHY, has performed well this year and also has a growing dividend.  It has grown earnings this year as well, so I expect another dividend increase next year.

Please note, I have long positions in all of these stocks.

Analyst Reading Internet Sentiment for $ECIG

It looks to me like there is heavy short interest in the sentiment of bloggers and forum chatter on the stock $ECIG.  It looks to me, if I were a betting person, that there are a lot of people short $ECIG.  I believe that the short sellers are going to get squeezed and that the fair market value of the shares are much higher than they are currently priced at.  If they do, the price will march even higher because they will have to cover, fueling any sort of rally.  Disclosure, long $ECIG.

Undervalued Stocks Monday 12/15/14 $ECIG $MCIG $ANAS $ERBB

The biggest undervalued stocks this week in the OTC penny market space consist of marijuana and e-cigarette names.

$ECIG is the blog's play of the day for Monday, and with a market cap of around $10 million based on my estimations, it is absurdly valued at only .25x full year earnings.  This leads me to believe that a company may look to buy it out, and a larger company can buy it even for $100 million and pay not even one years worth of what sales should probably be in a few years.

A larger company could manage $ECIG easier, and shareholders are now averaging down which would make a $1 per share bid hard to pass up for ones buying in now.  Additionally, the price tag of other major e-cig mergers have been in the $150 millon dollar range, making this one totally feasible if a large tobacco company were interested.  While distribution channels would not be an issue here, perhaps an additional known brand name would be.

MCIG ANAS and ERBB are three other top picks and I view these as being extremely undervalued in the pot stock market.  ERBB and MCIG are experiencing record revenue with the Zazz Machine and mCigs, respectively.  The Vitacig spin-off for Mcig will provide yet another catalyst and I feel the market is not fully valuing these companies currently.

ANAS is my best pick for a long shot, as it has been hammered since reaching about a penny per share earlier this year.  Its Focamine and other products are on Amazon and this is the company that was rumored and forecasted producing the coveted "5 Hour High."

Disclosure, I am long MCIG, ECIG, ANAS, and ERBB.

Two Winners - $ECIG and $MCIG

I must first disclose that I am long $ECIG and $MCIG.

Please read, if you would like to, my post from earlier tonight about ECIG.  It is my top play for next week and after a 30% gain in one day on $AZFL, I am on a winning streak.  That can also be seen here as well.

$ECIG has high sales and the current market valuation is less than .25x yearly sales.  If anyone can raise funds if need be, I am betting on this company with Victory and Fin e-cigs that has products for sale in such places as Walgreens.  This is a growing company and is the best share price value I have seen in a long time IMO.

$MCIG just spun off Vitacig to shareholders and it will begin trading soon on the market either as VCIG or VITA.  MCIG shareholders retain a 47% ownership in it, so everyone wins if it does well and it has been reported that Vitacig sales are growing much faster than MCIG or Vapolution.  Mcig also just opened a new retail store in Hollywood to sell Vitacig and Mcig products.

These small companies are going to be two winners in an e-cig market that is poised to grow 10 fold in the next three years per a Wells Fargo analyst.

Catch them while you can IMO, long MCIG and ECIG.

Based on Around 100 Million Shares O/S $ECIG Valuation Irrational

Based on what I have seen on iHub today, there are around 100 million shares outstanding of $ECIG right now.  That would give it a market cap of less than $10 million based on today's closing price.

Per the company's most recent earnings report, so far this year in three quarters the company has reported at least $30 million in revenue.  Even assuming only $10 million for quarter four, the company will have at least $40 in revenue this year and it is growing fast.

The e-cig market is expected to grow 10 fold per a Wells Fargo analyst, to about $10 billion per year in three years.

This market valuation currently of $ECIG is irrational.  How can a company with $40 million in revenue sell for less than .25x full year revenue?  For that matter, someone can buy the company on the cheap for $10 million.  Either that or the share price right now is completely out of whack.  My guess is the latter because if someone did try to take the company over at 10 cents a share, the shareholders would be in the right with a heavy backlash.

Long $ECIG and I feel this can be a 10 bagger in a short period of time.

Analyst Sells $AZFL and Buys Loads of $ECIG

Today, I went ahead and took one day gains in $AZFL and loaded up on $ECIG.

I am now long $ECIG and view this as a superior one week play.

My buy in of AZFL was .0014 per share and the sell price was .0019, all in less than one trading day.  Subscribe and comment on these posts to get in the know and know the moves before the rest.

Disclosure - Long $ECIG

Apple $AAPL Looks Undervalued Here

With Apple trading about $8 per share lower than the 52 week high it reached not too long ago, I view this as an excellent entry point.  I must note that I am long AAPL.

The fact remains that Apple pays a generous dividend for being a high growth tech company, and it has the earnings to support this current valuation along with a higher one.

Many felt that when it split, that it would be hard to surpass the price per share it had then.  The split has brought new investors to the table apparently, as the price per share is much more reasonable.  Also, when comparing the price per share to that of Amazon or Google, it still is very affordable.

Strongest Play for 12/12/2014 - $AZFL Up 100% Today

IMO and please note I am long AZFL, the strongest play for tomorrow is AZFL.  The price action today was marvelous and the stock closed up 100% on the day.  In my opinion, the low of even .0008 the stock reached yesterday was too low for a company that has already traded at over .01 per share this year and its prospects warrant a far higher price per share.

The volume today was staggering and unlike many penny stocks, there does not seem to be outward and defiant dilution going on here.  I am looking forward to tomorrow and please remember to do your own due diligence.  That being said, AZFL is my strongest play for tomorrow.

mCig and Vitacig Open New Retail Store $MCIG

In Hollywood, California, mCig and Vitacig have opened a new retail outlet store today.  This is their first store and is located in a prime location.  The implication for mcig so far is that its stock is currently trading up over 3%.  This bodes well for increasing sales and also by making sales to high profile people, it will encourage more people to try their products.  I remain bullish on the stock and am long MCIG and VCIG.

Who's Winning the E-Cig Battle? $MO $RAI $LO $MCIG $ECIG

So far, it is the major tobacco companies who are capturing the lion's share of the electronic cigarette market.  The IPO of ECIG, which was in October, has been a catastrophic flop so far, with shares down from the $4.50 IPO price to about .20 per share.

Not surprisingly, MO RAI and LO are growing market share of their electronic cigarettes because they have the distribution channels in place along with a healthy budget to market the products however much as they need to.

A smaller name that I think will win here eventually is MCIG because its device can also be used for marijuana.  Also, they did not start with high sales and they do not have that large of a market cap (about $44 million right now).  As a result, the bar is not too high and even $10 million in sales in a market estimated to grow to about $10 billion in 3 years will be huge for MCIG if it can achieve it.

I see long-term that there will be a handful of OTC winners in this market and the large tobacco players obviously will win as well.

I am long MO, RAI, LO, MCIG.

Amazonas Florestal Stock OTC .0008 $AZFL Analyst Opinion

Amazonas Florestal stock, ticker symbol AZFL, rose 33% today to close at .0008 per share.  Based on the sheer fact that the price is below .001 per share, I view this as being a significant opportunity.  If the stock can even make a little progress back to its 52 week high of .05 per share, we could have a multi bagger on our hands.

I have no position in AZFL but may initiate a long position within the next 72 hours.

Update 12/11/2014 - I am now long AZFL*******

I See a Santa Claus Stock Market Rally

Basically, to close the year, I see the market improving drastically.  Today's dip represents an excellent buying opportunity.

Top OTC Stock Roundup $PLKD $CTIX $TCEL $MINE $PPHM

So far today, PLKD and TCEL are down at least 20% each.   Out of all of these names, only MINE is up slightly.   It is a tough day for these top names in the OTC market.

I do believe the market in general will rebound here soon and I anticipate a Santa Claus Rally to end the year.

I view this short term drop yesterday and today to be short lived.

I have no position in these stocks mentioned here.

Fluctutations in Tech Stocks Today $GOOG $AAPL $AMZN $BABA

Today saw amazing price swings in technology shares, including in GOOG, AAPL, AMZN, and BABA.

Earlier this week, this blog and the related blog for stock options recommended that a good option strategy was straddles in AAPL, and AMZN for capturing this price swings.  Today they happened, and an upward bias to them was also called.  So far so good, and there was an amazing chance to capture gains along the way selling into the moves as a day trader.

Please note, I am long GOOG, AAPL, AMZN, and BABA.

$CLF Versus $CTIX - Blogger Pick Pays Off

Today, we saw the first trading day since I changed my position to long CLF by selling CTIX.  I stated that my opinion yesterday was that it was time to take gains in CTIX and that I feel CLF is headed to $9 per share in short order.

CTIX was up .22% on the day, whereas CLF was up 1.49%.  In the coming days and weeks to close out the year, in my opinion this outperformance will continue.  Please note, I am long CLF.

Gains in $CTIX - Market Recap

Today, shares of CTIX are surging by 35% currently.  The stock is near or at its 52 week high and is roaring ahead on news today that it received a designation for one of its medicine to classify it as a qualified disease treatment.

This has propelled this stock to new heights and since I just bought shares a few weeks ago, I realize that a 30% gain for me in less than a month is too good to pass up.  Though the company still has potential to rise further, I found it to be something I wanted to cash in on now and not risk loss.

I have no position in $CTIX.

Out of $CTIX and Into $CLF

Today, I went ahead and took gains in $CTIX and rolled them into a new position of $CLF.  In my view, the short term gain in CTIX was too good to pass up, and I cashed in a nice 30% gain.  I believe Cliffs is undervalued here, and my price target in the next few weeks is $9 per share.  Please note, this is only my opinion and not investment advice.

Disclosure, I am long CLF.

Stock and Option Plays for December 8, 2014

For the stock picks and option strategies for December 8, 2014, we will focus on stocks of AAPL, AMZN, BABA, MSFT, EBAY, TGT, and SBUX.

For options strategies, the daily price fluctuations of AAPL, AMZN, and BABA are positive for a straddle strategy.  In my opinion on these, the next months will bring a wide change in stock price.  I am in a position to say that I like these stocks' chances of going up, and also for a strong change in price even if they were to go down.  For that matter, a hedged option strategy to take advantage of price changes is geared toward these three stocks.  In my opinion, a straddle is good here.

For MSFT, EBAY, TGT, and SBUX, I like being long in these and also purchasing calls is another way to profit from them by putting up less money if you believe they will rise in share price.

Please note, this is only my opinion and is not investment advice.  I am long AAPL, AMZN, BABA, EBAY, TGT, and SBUX.

If Carl Icahn Likes Apple So Do I $AAPL

Carl Icahn likes shares of AAPL.  I like them as well and with the strong growth that the company's sales are showing, I still believe the company is undervalued.  With the strong assets it has, it can easily spin out multiple segments of the company in the future and create a lot more value in the future.  Aside from that, it has a superb portfolio of cash cows.  Please note, I am long AAPL.

Stock Market Picks for the Week of 12/8/2014 - Undervalued Shares

The following are stocks that I feel are undervalued going into the week of December 8, 2014 and that I think will increase in share price this week.

Please note, I am long all of these shares so I believe it too.

$CTIX - CTIX The stock has performed well in the last week and I feel more on the news front could propel this stock even higher.

$BABA - Alibaba - it's just its time to rise again after taking a few weeks off from price gains after its last large run up.

$EBAY - solid stock, worth way more than $54.81 per share in my opinion due to the upcoming Paypal spin off.

$PLKD Has Impressive Day in Stock Market

$PLKD has had an impressive day in the OTC stock market today, with its shares trading up by 100% as of last check.  While this move is enticing for investors, more often than not a penny stock trading this low will see a short term run up only to be followed by a massive decline.  I do not see the possibility of a sustainable rally here unless the company shows positive strides in its business aspects.  New company news and developments could prove me wrong but I remain bearish here from this point on out.

I have no position in $PLKD.

StreamTrack, Inc. $STTK Intriguing Here

Shares of $STTK are down today.  I find it to be intriguing here, since it has held support above trips.  It may be worth a gander here, but I view it as a high risk play and I am neutral on it.

I have no position in $STTK.

I Like FVRG $FVRG Stock Here

$FVRG stock has one simple thing that I like to see with microcaps - positive earnings per share.  Over the trailing 12 months, it has earned 4 cents per share per Yahoo! Finance.  Based on its value and recent news, I feel the catalysts are there for it to possibly revist its 52 week high of $2 per share.

I have no position in $FVRG.

Time for Caution in $PLKD PLKD

Pleasant Kids, Inc. is up today 100% currently to .0006 per share.  In my opinion, this is a watershed moment for investors who were in before today.  I urge caution to anyone who wants to get in right now, and would definitely not put my money here.  I am bearish on this stock.  Please note, I have no position in PLKD.

Cliffs Natural Resources $CLF Undervalued

I believe shares of Cliff Natural Resources, ticker symbol CLF, are undervalued at this point.  With the share price being only $8 or so per share, the value of the company's components far exceeds this market price in my estimation.

I have no position in CLF but if I were looking to initiate a position, this would be a great entry point.

Alibaba Shares Poised for Another Jump $BABA

Lately, shares of Alibaba have not been performing that great, with the share price basically being flat since their run-up about a month ago.

In my opinion, this has allowed for some investors to take profits.  I believe BABA is ready to run higher now, especially with the new year of 2015 potentially bringing more institutional investments.

I am long BABA.

Southwest Airlines $LUV LUV Continues to Fly High in Share Price

The stock price in Southwest Airlines, ticker symbol LUV, is continuing to fly high.  This has not been seen by shareholders of LUV for many, many years.  This increase in stock price is very exciting and it is very possible that it is going to continue.

The earnings of LUV are roaring because of low oil prices and expansion.  Look here if you want a great airline stock.

Disclosure, I am long LUV.

Bank of China $BACHY BACHY on a Roll - Recommended

Today I would like to recommend the stock of Bank of China, ticker symbol BACHY on the otc US markets.

The stock pays a high dividend, which is paid annually.  At these price levels, I still think it is very cheap.  Also, the stock has appreciated well this year, a trend I like to see.

Disclosure, I am long BACHY.

Undervalued Stock 12/4/2014 - PBR $PBR

Petrobras, ticker symbol PBR, is highlighted today as the undervalued stock of the day.  The stock is trading below $9 per share currently and offers investors an enviable opportunity to capture high gains once the stock price bounces back.

In my opinion, PBR is a supreme long term investment.  I am long PBR.

Cyber Monday and Black Friday Stock Winners - Markets

For Cyber Monday and Black Friday, I will list here companies that I think will be big winners.

To start with, Alibaba is going to be a big winner in my opinion.  This is a non-traditional pick because most of its sales do not come from the United States.  This is not the case fully, however, as I believe that many people here do still buy merchandise from there.  I view it as a big growth market for BABA and believe we will start seeing momentum this year from it.

For American companies, I see TGT, EBAY, AMZN, SBUX, WMT, and AAPL as the potential biggest winners.  This will also extend to the phone companies such as T and VZ and VOD.

Full disclosure, I am long TGT, EBAY, AMZN, SBUX, AAPL, T, VZ, and VOD.

WMIH Down Today

WMIH is down big today, off about 4.55%.  I recommend this stock and have no position in WMIH.

Today may represent a nice buying opportunity.

Please see the other blog posts here for more analysis.

Cyber Monday Stock Market Winners

In my opinion, the following companies will be the big retail winners for Cyber Monday.

Ebay, TGT, SBUX, BABA, and AMZN.  Please note I am long all of these stocks.

The sales have come in for Black Friday and online sales growth was brisk.  Walmart and Target reported strong foot traffic for Thanksgiving and Black Friday.  I have no position in Walmart.

For detailed analysis of these stocks, please see the site search here.

Black Friday Sales $TGT $EBAY

Black Friday sales came in robust for many companies.  Winners here include TGT and Ebay, both stocks of which I have long positions in.

With sales coming in strong, we are looking for a strong holiday season for these companies.  As the season progresses, we will find out if the market prices in some upside.

$PHOT $ERBB $AGTK $MCIG $NTRR $MCIG

I am long PHOT, ERBB, AGTK, MCIG, and NTRR along with MCIG.

I focus on these pot stocks in this blog and there has been a lot of analysis and comments posted.  Please search the blog to find these and you can comment as well.

If there are other pot stocks you want to focus on here, please let me know and we can do that as well.

My Favorite Pot Stocks - $NTRR $AGTK $MCIG $ANAS

My favorite pot stocks are as follows: NTRR, AGTK, MCIG, and ANAS.  I am long all of these stocks.  Recent news has come out that is favorable for MCIG,  as the company is going to spin off Vitacig shares to existing shareholders.  NTRR is another great pick, and ANAS we have to be patient on.

I believe in the next pot stock bubble, which will happen, that these stocks will soar.

Hottest Penny Stock - VIICQ $VIICQ

Ticker symbol VIICQ $VIICQ is taking flight today.  The stock is currently up over 50%.  While this move has caught investors by surprise, it is unclear why whatever positive news is out has not been issued as a press release syndicated through Yahoo! Finance.  I would be extremely careful of the move in share price today and recommend investors take a cautious stance here after this run up.

I have no position in VIICQ.

CNLMU Upcoming IPO $CNLMU

The IPO of shares of CNLMU is coming soon, scheduled for the first week of December.  With the IPO market heating up this year, now is a great time to evaluate the next winner.  I have no position in CNLMU.   Please comment and share this post and search this blog for your other favorite stocks.  Go CB Pharma Acquisition!

Diamond Offshore Drilling #DO $DO

Shares of Diamond Offshore Drilling were off 10% in trade on the stock market on Wednesday.  This was a dramatic move down and likely is partially due to falling oil prices.

This is one of those names that can make a comeback for sure.  I have no position in DO.

Please comment and search the blog for updates on your favorite stocks.

Investors Rushing to Exit REDG $REDG

Today, it looks like investors found a reason to stampede out of shares of REDG $REDG.  At this time, I believe this stock has potential and is in a good market with comic books.  I believe the selling is overdone.

Red Giant Entertainment is a stock I am neutral on, but do feel that it will bounce back from the drop today. I have no position in REDG.  Tweet and retweet this post please.

Stocks I Like that are Undervalued Picks for December 2014

Here are some undervalued stocks for December 2014.  Please note,  I have long positions in all of them and that would make sense as to why I like them.  This is a good thing, however, as I put my money where my mouth is.

Please conduct your own due diligence and research before buying any stock.  If you want to find out more about these stocks, please search and comment on this blog to find the other posts and opinions.  I want to hear your opinions as well.

MCIG, AGTK, CWIR, ENTI, HFBG, BABA, AAPL, TGT, DTV, LO, MO, RAI, BACHY, MT, SBUX,  PBR, ITUB, PBR/A, EBAY, CHL, VZ, RIO, CTL, LUV, VOD, RFMK, MOJO, PHOT, USMN, ANAS, CTIX, ELRA.

Positive Momentum Penny Stocks $AEMD $NTEK

Today, shares of AEMD and NTEK are surging higher.  Earlier, I had issued caution for AEMD some time ago.  Please search this blog for a detailed opinion on AEMD.

Today, I wanted to upgrade my stance on AEMD, as I feel the shares could move much higher here in the short term.

I have no position in AEMD or NTEK.

mCig to Spin Off Vitacig to Shareholders

The announcement came in today and it is official.  FINRA approved the spin off of Vitacig to shareholders of mCig with today being the ex-dividend date.

It is important because this was originally expected to be announced in April, though it appears that approval took way longer than anticipated.

I am long mCIG and recommend it.  Please search this blog for other undervalued stocks.

Undervalued Stocks for November 24, 2014 Week - CTIX, FNMA, PBR, AAPL, BABA, MCIG, NTEK

For the week of November 24, 2014, here are some undervalued stocks based on my research and opinion.

The ticker symbols that look great going into this week are CTIX, FNMA, PBR, AAPL, BABA, and MCIG.  Please note that I am long shares of these.

In the articles that have been posted on here, you will find detailed analyses of each of these stocks.  Please check those posts out to see why they are such great cheap stocks.  If you are looking to invest, I believe you cannot go wrong in these names.  You can find the posts by either searching for the ticker symbols, or by going through the list of posts on the right task bar of this page.

CTIX is out with news today that it will be a big December for the company, and FNMA perked up last week.  MCIG is an undervalued gem with growing sales.

NTEK is also good, I am not long NTEK.

I am not long LVGI and SWRF, but have issued opinions here on them as well which can also be found by searching the blog.  LVGI is up nicely today I might add.

Please comment on the posts and also comment if you would like more discussion to be added to any particular stock that is written about or not, so that I know which stocks you are interested in finding out more about.  Also, please let me know the stocks you own so that we can highlight those to readers.

Upcoming IPO - CB Pharma Acquisition

CB Pharma Acquisition, ticker symbol CNLMU, is set for its IPO on Tuesday November 25, 2014.  The shares are expected to be priced at $10 per share, with 4 million shares set to go.  This makes for a $40 million IPO.

This is a modest IPO, and it will test investor's appetite in this pharmaceutical company.

Undervalued Stock Picks for 11/21/2014

For today, there are many mining company shares that are rising.  Also, emerging stocks are roaring back today as well.  In Brazil, a more pro-business finance minister may be appointed.

For today's undervalued stock pick, I would like to highlight VALE.  The Brazilian miner pays a healthy dividend, and although it has struggled this year, I believe it is poised to deliver strong long-term returns.

This downturn in VALE presents an excellent opportunity to buy shares cheaply, and if it does perform well over time, this could potentially add more to gains we would see.

Disclosure, I am long VALE.

Undervalued Stock Pick for November 19, 2014 - Petrobras

Today, I wanted to highlight a daily undervalued stock pick.  Investors should look into shares of Petrobras, ticker symbol PBR.

Its shares are currently trading at less than $10 per share, which is the lowest it has been in a long time.  With allegations of corruption and bribery, along with the slowdown of the Brazilian economy, this stock has been getting hammered day in and day out.

Long-term, this is a superb stock in my opinion.  I view these events as short term and as a low point for PBR, as things cannot get much worse.  While I believe that this underperformance may continue for awhile, I believe that for long term investors you cannot go wrong here and that shares of PBR are very undervalued.

Disclosure, I am long PBR.

Analysts are Bullish on Alibaba Shares - Updated

Shares of Alibaba, BABA, have stalled recently in its rally.  Shares touched $120 briefly, and have had a slight correction since.  However, this is not to fear because for one, shares are strongly ahead of its IPO price.

Furthermore, recent analyst actions show that there are many bulls out there.  Cantor Fitzgerald, HSBC, and Bank of America all have issued either buy or overweight ratings on BABA during the month of November.

It will be interesting to see how the year ends for the share price of Alibaba, but I would expect its share price to reflect positively if we see strong holiday sales.

Disclosure, I am long BABA.

November 19, 2014 - Target Beats Earnings Estimates by 7 Cents

In pre-market news, Target announced that same store sales rose in the most recent quarter.  Also, TGT beat earnings expectations by 7 cents per share.  Earnings came in at 54 cents per share after adjusting net income.

As a result, shares of Target are trading up over 3% in pre-market trading.  If it ends up opening at this, it would substantially beat its previous 52 week high.

Lately, shares of Target have been on a roll and investors who were in at lower prices are being rewarded.  Disclosure, I am long TGT.

What is Better - Growth or Dividends?

For investors, it is important to establish an objective for investing.  Many investors are looking for either income or growth, or a combination of both.

Income investors may look to high yielding stocks that pay a large dividend to receive a steady flow of income annually.  In this case, it is important to find companies that are not in danger of having their dividends reduced or eliminated.  This blog, Undervalued Stock Picks, through its posts can help you find those companies.

Also, growth stocks are the rage because they can produce high annual returns when they do well, such as gains we have seen in stocks in the neighborhood of 20+% annually.  In this case, the returns come from share price appreciation, rather than from the dividend.  Many growth stocks also pay a dividend, with a yield lower than one that would be a slower growing company.

Holy Moly - HSBC Bank Issues $148 Target on Alibaba Shares

On November 11th, it was reported that HSBC Bank announced that they have a $148 per share price target on Alibaba shares.  I think this is a very reasonable target because Alibaba is experiencing fast and unprecedented growth for a company of its size.

If Alibaba follows in the footsteps of Twitter and Facebook, the coming earnings reports in future quarters will be better and better.  Alibaba also did one better than Twitter and Facebook - it met high expectations for its initial earnings report.

I own shares of BABA and recommend it to investors as I feel it is still undervalued.

Neff Corp NEFF Upcoming IPO 11/21/14

On November 21, 2014, the IPO of Neff Corp, ticker symbol NEFF, is expected to hit the market.  The offering is expected to consist of over 10,000,000 shares priced at around $20-$22 per share.  This makes for a sizeable offering of over $200 million, and investors will be looking to see if this is one of those special undervalued IPOs that they can capitalize on.

Neff is an equipment rental company, so I foresee that investors will be looking for growth and operating margins.

Nokia Releases Android Tablet - Shares Looking Undervalued Here

Nokia continued its climb back toward becoming a power stock once again with its launch today of an iPad lookalike.  It is an Android tablet that will be low cost.  This news has sent the stock soaring today, as NOK is up currently 4.11% to $7.99 per share.

Nokia is projected, per Yahoo! Finance, to earn .34 per share this year, which is well above the .03 per share it earned in the previous fiscal year.  It also is currently paying a nice dividend.

I find this stock to be undervalued and recommend it.  Disclosure, I am long NOK.

Carl Icahn's Increased Investment in Ebay Bodes Well for Investors

Carl Icahn has recently increased his stock position in Ebay shares.  This adds further credibility to the case for an Ebay investment right now.

In looking at this, we must remember the background from one of his recent Internet investments - Netflix.  He made a ton of money with Netflix stock (NFLX) and with this impressive track record, this bodes well for Ebay right now if he strikes again with a winner.

Adding further credence to a long position in Ebay, in my opinion, is the upcoming spin off of Paypal.  It is difficult for me to come up with a value for Paypal, as I do not feel that companies such as Mastercard and Visa provide a relevant benchmark.  Paypal is primarily (currently) an online payment based system.  An exciting addition to this is that online sales are growing much more rapidly than brick and mortar store sales.

To this extent, I believe companies like Mastercard and Visa are more mature in their markets, and feel that the Paypal stock will rise tremendously over time.

Disclosure, I am long EBAY.

Lorillard and Reynolds Merger Offers Investors Extreme Value

The merger, if it goes through, between Lorillard (LO) and Reynolds American (RAI) offers investors great value.

For shareholders of Lorillard, they are set to receive $68.88 in the buyout.  $50.50 of it is in cash and the rest is made up of approximately .29 shares of RAI for every share of LO.  In this scenario, you are essentially getting .29 shares of RAI for $18.38.  That equates to a price per share of $63.37 for Reynolds, and that is still under its current share price of $64.66 as of 11/17/2014.

Also, while that is not an extreme value anymore, you are getting $68.88 in value for LO shares, which trade today at $61.98 per share.  That still is about $7 upside from here, and that is about a 10% return which could happen in short order.  That is in addition to the dividend that LO pays.

All in all, I recommend LO here.

Disclosure, I am long LO and RAI.

DirecTV and AT&T Merger Offers Investor Stellar Opportunity for Capital Gains

With the upcoming AT&T merger with DirecTV, shareholders of DirecTV are set to receive a nice package of compensation.  The proposed buyout price which will go into effect if the deal is approved by regulators is $95 per share.  DTV is currently trading at $87.55 per share, which offers investors a potential 8.51% short term upside in DTV immediately.

If the deal goes through, and AT&T shares trade at least at $34.90 per share, investors of DTV will receive stock worth $66.50 of value, and $28.50 in cash.

For example, if you buy 100 shares of DTV, which would cost you $8,755 right now (not including commissions), you will receive $28.50 back in cash if the deal is approved.  That means your cost basis of DTV will go down to $59.05 in AT&T shares, but you will be receiving $66.50 of value.

Essentially, by taking on the risk of the merger not going through, you get more than a 10% discount on AT&T stock now.  It is similar to buying AT&T stock at around $32-$33 per share based on its current price.  That makes its dividend yield even more enticing.

Disclosure, I am long T and DTV.

Latteno Food Corp. - LATF

Latteno Food Corp., ticker symbol LATF, has struggled this year.  During the recent boom in MMJ stocks, it had reached a peak of close to a penny per share.  Since then, it has come down in price despite the fact that the company announced record revenue of almost $4 million in the second quarter.  I am long LATF and have been for awhile, and am hopeful that the share price will bounce back.

Bill Cosby's Favorite Stocks

Does anyone have any idea on which stocks would be favorites of Bill Cosby?  If you do, please post in the comments and let's open a discussion on it.  With his success, I would imagine that Bill Cosby would be heavily invested in the stock market.

Tiger Management and George Soros Have Stakes in Alibaba

Alibaba is drawing some great investors to its stock.  Tiger Management and George Soros both have hefty stakes in shares, and it is starting to attract ETFs as investors as well.  This bodes well as a vote of confidence with shares, and Jim Cramer has also said many positive things about BABA.  Now all we need is Warren Buffett and Carl Ichan to invest in Alibaba.  What more could Jack Ma have envisioned for this company?

Jim Cramer Likes Alibaba

Jim Cramer has had many positive comments about shares of Alibaba.  Recently, he said good things could be on the horizon for BABA.  George Soros has taken stakes in Yahoo! and Alibaba, and Starboard also has a stake in Yahoo!  The price target was raised for YHOO on Friday by an analyst to $60 per share, which represents close to a 20% premium from its current price.  These are exciting times again for Internet investors, and I believe this market is poised for superb returns short and long term.

Petrobras Earnings Delay - Whacks Investors

Investors in PBR, Petrobras, were shell shocked on Friday as the stock tumbled more to a 52 week low.  Because of the financial woes (allegations of wrong-doing, etc.) along with its warning from PWC,  its earnings announcement has been delayed to December.  Hopefully this marks a turnaround for the company, Mckesson is a company that had a scandal many years back and long-term has bounced back stronger than over.

Nike Shares Near a 52 Week High

Shares of Nike are trading near its 52 week high, hovering close to $96 per share.  Nike has been a gem of the market in recent years, pushing new highs constantly.  It is considered a market leader and dominates its categories.  If the holiday season bodes well for business, it could find higher highs.

AT&T Shares at $35.90

AT&T closed out the trading week at $35.90 per share.  Going into the DirecTV merger, this is a good price for the conversion assuming it obtains the necessary regulatory approval.  Look for guidance on that to be coming out soon via corporate news.  AT&T is a well known dividend stock and has one of the highest yields, if not the highest, in the Dow.

ELRA and CTIX Week Ahead

To close the week, shares of ELRA and CTIX were weaker.  Next week, we may see earnings reported for ELRA.  Also, we may get more news about CTIX's trials for its products.  I am long ELRA and CTIX and look forward to a pivotal week for these stocks in my opinion.

Warren Buffett Increases Stake in DirecTV

Warren Buffett has increased his stake in DirecTV, which bodes well for DirecTV shareholders.  I am long DTV and recommend it as an undervalued stock pick going into December and 2015.  It is good to see that Buffett agrees, because good things tend to follow when the Oracle of Omaha invests in a company.

George Soros' Hedge Fund Takes Position in Alibaba

George Soros, through his hedge fund, has taken a position in Alibaba (BABA).  This is a big move for investors because when a prominent and legendary investor buys stock in a company, good things tend to follow.

Alibaba Shares Turn Positive on the Day

The stock of BABA has started out the day today down, but now it is above $115 per share and is up on the day.  We have about 3 hours until the market close and investors will be watching how Alibaba trades the rest of the day.

Target Shares Push to New 52 Week High Above $68 Per Share

Shares of Target hit a new 52 week high in intraday trading today, and are currently right above $68 per share.  With strong retail sales reported, hopes for a good holiday season have increased.  Target is ready to grow its revenue in the coming years in my opinion, and with more rollouts in Canada, this season is one we are ready for.

Graham Holdings to Spin Off its Cable Division

Graham Holdings, GHC, announced today that it is spinning off its cable division to existing shareholders.  This is a bold and welcomed move, and has sent its stock soaring today by over 10% currently.  I am lopng GHC.

Another 52 Week High for Apple

Apple has reached yet another 52 week high today, and this stock is a buy according to this blog.  I am long shares and see that we are hoping for strong iPhone sales going into the new year.  With a deal with China Mobile, the company is motoring ahead with growth in sales.

Amazon Shares are Up Nearly 5% Today

Shares of Amazon are rising today, and are trading higher by close to 5%.  This move is pretty great, and marks the most the stock has moved in quite some time.  Retail sales came in strong, and this bodes well going into the holiday season.  I am long AMZN and excited about the coming months.

Altria Battles Back, Ends Day Up

Altria was down during some of the day, but ended the day in the green.  Altria shares are testing $50 per share.

Ebay Going Strong

Shares of Ebay were steady today, with the share price rising yet again.  There is speculation among some that this will be a good holiday season, and shares are reacting accordingly.

Alibaba Down Today

Alibaba shares went down today, a day after bouncing back.  The high for the day though, was $120 per share.  It is rocking and going into the holidays, I expect Alibaba to find more record highs.

Verizon Shares Higher on the Day

Shares of Verizon are heading higher today, back toward its 52 week high.  It will be interesting to see if it tests the 52 week high in the next few days.  I think it might.

Kimberly Clark Bumps Up Dividend

Shares of Kimberly Clark, KMB, saw a jump today after it was announced that the company will increase its quarterly dividend to .84 per share.  This was about a 5% increase from its prior dividend.

Target Reaches New 52 Week High Today

Shares of Target have reached a new 52 week high today, and are currently up by about .4%.  This is welcome news to shareholders, who have seen shares plateau since the data compromising breach.  I am long TGT and believe its shares are very undervalued.

Amazon Up by 1% Today

Amazon shares are trading higher today, bucking the slightly current downward market trend.  Its stock is up by about 1% currently and has performed well over the past few days.  As the holiday season approaches, it will be interesting to see if Amazon can beat estimates for revenue growth.  In my opinion, it is an undervalued stock.  I am long AMZN.

Russell Wilson Rookie Autograph

This article will bring you a wide variety of rookie autographs of Russell Wilson from 2012 football card sets..

A Russell Wilson rookie autograph from 2012 is a great purchase because he is red hot right now. His Playoff Contenders 2012 rookie autograph is selling for a high amount, especially if it is graded a BGS 9.5 gem mint or better. Some of his rookie autographs are selling for upwards of $1,000. You can find one here at a low price now.

Rookie Sports Card Collection

A rookie sports card collection should consist of great rookie cards from baseball, basketball, football, and hockey.  Many of the rookie cards that are remembered most by collectors come from the early vintage years, starting with names such as the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card.
This page will explain a bit about the rookie cards offered by the different sports, as well as showing you pictures of my baseball cards including rookies from some of the major sports, with many superstars included such as Shawn Marion, Ken Griffey Jr., Chauncey Billups, and Randy Moss.
Here at My Baseball Card Space, there is a free sports card community that all of you can join, this is the best community for baseball cards on the Internet.  Click here to register for free free baseball cards community

A rookie card is typically the first card produced by the card companies of a particular player in a licensed set for that particular sport.  For example, with Ken Griffey Jr., 1989 was the first year he had cards in any major set.  In 1988, he did not have any cards in Topps, Donruss, or Fleer, so 1989 was his rookie year.  Pictured below is Ken Griffey Jr.'s rookie card from 1989 Donruss (far right), #33 in the set.  His 1989 Upper Deck rookie card is highly sought after and all of his rookie cards should provide future value since he is a likely first ballot hall of famer when he does choose to retire, which he has still yet to do yet after signing on to play at least for another year with the Seattle Mariners, the team he was a rookie with

The rookie card pictured on the far left is a rookie card of Shawn Marion from my personal rookie sports card collection, 1999-00 Topps Chrome #120.  This is an example of a nice basketball rookie card of a superstar, and Topps Chrome is a premium brand, which makes this rookie of his more valuable than ones say from a regular issued and non-serial numbered Fleer set.

Next, is a picture of a 1997-98 Topps Finest Chauncey Billups rookie card, #103 in the set.  I have had this card since before he won championships and rose in value, which explains why I have quite a few in my collection.  His cards saw increases in value as he has become a great player in the league.

The third card pictured from my rookie sports card collection is a Randy Moss rookie card, 1998 Flair Showcase Randy Moss Row 3 #5 in the set.  He is a great player and a likely hall of famer.  This is a great investment when collecting solid rookie cards of superstars.
Here is a picture of a 2006-07 Topps Finest basketball Brandon Roy rookie card http://www.mybaseballcardspace.info/index.php?cmd=viewphoto&id=1&viid=597
To find other Brandon Roy rookie cards, click here.
Hockey also has many rookies, though on this page there is  not enough time to list them too.  There are some listed on the home page in the pictures most likely.  I hope you enjoyed this article about my rookie sports card collection and on the subject in general.  There are more links below to find more rookie baseball cards.

Some of the autographs that are his best ones include his 2009 Topps Rookie Premiere Autograph and his 2009 Playoff Contenders rookie autograph. Some of the listings that I see up right now are as follows. MARK SANCHEZ TOPPS ROOKIE PREMIERE SP 2009 AUTOGRAPH - this is a great card and I believe it has a book value of right around $120 or so. There is also a red ink parallel of this card. Mark Sanchez 2009 Chrome Rookie RED REFRACTOR AUTOGRAPH BGS 9.5 serial numbered out of only 5 cards - wow!. Please enjoy the listings below.

Cal Ripken Topps Autograph

This article presents Cal Ripken Topps autographs and game worn jersey cards including ones from Topps Tribute and Topps Triple Threads.
Recently, there was a Topps Triple Threads gold bat/jersey (triple relic) autograph serial numbered to 9 cards that sold for about $170 on Ebay. This is an example of a great autographed card to obtain of Cal Ripken. Also, there was a dual relic 2011 Topps Tribute card that sold for about $30 on Ebay. Topps makes some of the best autographs of Cal Ripken. This article was written by the site owner and administrator of  My Baseball Card Space

Analyst Focus - CTIX and ELRA

Today, I wanted to focus on shares of CTIX and ELRA.  I am long both shares, having initiated a position in CTIX early yesterday, before it rose even more.  So far, CTIX is performing well, and I am bullish on the stock.  Today, ELRA has finally rallied.  I am long both shares and recommend them, and feel that when ELRA reports earnings soon, we may see a rise in share price if the company can show revenue and revenue potential. These are the two penny stocks that have been recent buys by me, and I recommend them.

CenturyLink Shares Testing $40 Per Share

Shares of CenturyLink today, ticker symbol CTL, are right around $40 per share.  It will be interesting to see if upon the market close, CTL can hold above $40 per share.  This could be a psychological indicator in terms of investor sentiment that could hold influence as to how the stock will trade in the short term.

Second Sight Medical Products IPO

The IPO for Second Sight Medical Products, ticker symbol EYES, is coming the week of November 17th.  3.5 million shares are expected to be priced at $9 per share.  This is a small offering and could fly under the radar.  Investors are encouraged to do some due diligence and examine these financials to see if we could have a big winner here.

Paramount Group PGRE IPO $PGRE

The IPO for Paramount Group is expected to come next week, the week of November 17, 2014.  131 million shares are expected to be priced at $16 to $19 per share and this should be one of the most watched IPOs of the week.  It is by far the largest offering of the week in terms of number of shares issued.

Shares of AMZN $AMZN Showing Strength

I was happy to see that shares of Amazon, ticker symbol AMZN, are holding up nicely after reaching the 52 week low a little while back.  With the holidays upon us, Amazon is looking to grow revenue.  With a large following, I expect Amazon to once again become a coveted stock pushing new 52 week highs soon.  I am long AMZN.

Shares of Ebay $EBAY Performing Well

Shares of Ebay have held up strong over the past week.  This is a good indicator going into what I believe will be a strong holiday season.  Discounts on gift cards and consumer incentives should push growth to the company for its sales.  I am long Ebay and think that going into the new year, we could see a good share price spike especially considering the tax free spin-off of Paypal to shareholders is coming soon.  I do not feel that the value of that is fully priced in yet.

Shares of AERO $AERO Higher Today

Shares of Aerogarden, ticker symbol AERO $AERO are up nicely today after the company reported extreme growth in revenue.  I am long AERO and believe this was a nice step forward.  With the upcoming quarter, we will see how well the biggest quarter of the year for the company goes.  This might be a nice entry level for those looking to invest, and the company got in with major retailers to increase the Aerogarden retail sales.

Alibaba Sets Singles' Day Record, Stock Cools Off

Alibaba, ticker symbol BABA $BABA cooled off in share price today.  Not to worry, as it set a Single's Day record for sales in excess of $9 billion which handily beat estimates.  A correction was reasonable given that the stock has risen for more than a week.  These events are healthy for the stock long-term, as every day cannot be a rise in share price.

Vodafone in Focus Today

Shares of Vodafone are moving sharply higher today on the heels of great earnings.  This is a top dividend stock and also there are rumors that it could be a takeover target.  I am long VOD.

New Position - Long CTIX

As of today, I am now long CTIX and feel this stock is undervalued at this point based on current developments.  The stock is starting to move this morning, likely due to the news of a successful move to phase 2 trials in Brilacidin-OM.

Sell LVGI

I have no position in LVGI and today wanted to chime in with my opinion on the stock.  With the chill being placed on it today, and it being so close to trips, I recommend selling it here.  I see no value in the potential that it will generate revenue, and view that as doubtful.  I see this stock heading to trips and possibly no bid soon.  I have nailed recent picks on here, as can be seen through the posts.  Update 11/12/2014 - Please note, the chill was removed on 11/11/2014.  I was under the impression the chill was placed on 11/11, not removed.  This was my error.  Not much information is available on this stock and I apologize for the oversight.  I have no position in LVGI.

Analyst Nails Calls on SLTD

Recently, I have come out saying that I recommended purchasing shares of SLTD for short term gains.  Yesterday, I urged investors to take profits and felt that SLTD was overextended in price.  Today, the stock is down 21.22% to start the day.  I have been able to call everything on this stock recently, and it has been another great stock pick of this site.  Tune in for more, and soon I will also have another recommendation in relation to SLTD.  I have no position in SLTD.

Solar3D - Overextended Here

In my opinion, without extremely positive results coming through soon, the rally in SLTD has become overextended.  I see a correction coming very soon and on my correct call that we might see short term trading profits, I recommend taking profits here.  Disclosure, I have no position in SLTD.

Analyst Has Missed so far on ELRA - Elray Resources, Inc.

So far, I have missed the mark on ELRA as far as predicting a quick surge in price.  However, I only personally bought 50,000 shares at .0017, making my investing into it $85 before considering commissions.

In that same roundabout time frame, I bought a stock that has been recommended on here as well way before I recommended ELRA, as well as other stocks that have performed much better.  In fact, ELRA is about the only loser with it currently being down about $40.  One stock is up a staggering 20% in less than a month and luckily, the initial investment I made was greater than $85.

Would you like to know where the real money is going and which are top plays among all stocks?  If you would like to know, please +1 on Google using the link here and subscribe via email to posts and/or follow this blog either on Google or whichever news reader source you have.  Once the blog has 20 subscribers, I will feel more comfortable about sharing weighting of picks amongst readers.  Please let me know in the comments if there is something you would like to see here.  The links to subscribe and +1 are on the right of this blog in the sidebar.

Big Money Could be Coming to ELRA Soon

ELRA is unexplainably down today as we await news from the company to go with its 10-Q filing.  This is expected this week.

With the report of $10 million wagered in the month of October with one of its joint ventures, forward looking statements of what revenue streams are here and on the way will be highly watched if offered.

Look for big players to start pouring money into ELRA possibly.  This is due to the fact that the stock was at least 10 times higher than what it is trading at now and that was very recent as well.  This has the tendency to attract big money at a low entry price in hopes of ELRA regaining its recent highs.  Disclosure, I am long ELRA.

Rio Tinto Shares Remain Undervalued

As we head into the trading week of November 10, 2014, shares of Rio Tinto remain undervalued.  In a Reuters interview with its CEO, it is noted that the production cost of iron ore for Rio Tinto is about $20 per ton.  The low price in iron ore is not affecting Rio Tinto too much as a result, and it is able to increase production to gain market share.  This is going to pay dividends over the long-term in my opinion, and I am looking forward to a likely share dividend increase in 2015.  Long RIO.

Week of November 10 - Alibaba Stock

As we begin the trading week of Monday November 10, 2014, shares of Alibaba will be in focus.  It is coming off of the best week so far in its history on the NYSE, with shares trading sharply higher.  Will this continue?  There have been big names, including Jim Cramer, who have said that the shares could trade much higher than they are.  I see that coming as well, and am long shares.  Jack Ma has done an excellent job with this company and I feel that it has tremendous days yet to come.

Elray Resources, Inc. ELRA - What Stands Out

I own shares and recommend buying ELRA stock, and here is a summary of why it stands out from other penny stock plays.

Real revenue - a rarity among penny stocks.  For Elray Resources, it has real revenue per its most recent 10-Q statement for the quarter ending June 30, 2014.  It generated $45,000 of revenue in this quarter due to a 12 month consulting contract to manage a casino's back-office operations.  This is a 12 month contract for $250,000 per the 10-Q and not only does it bring revenue, but it puts ELRA out there and adds to its expertise.

In addition to that, a promising announcement was made for Elray Resources for the month of October.  A joint venture it is involved in, a gaming casino in Manila, generated $10,000,000 of wagers during October.  The expected yield per Elray's press release is 2.5%, which equates to $250,000 of revenue.  With that, the revenue for Elray Resources is based on its JV ownership percentage.

Furthermore, the company acquired www.lotterydomain.com for preferred shares, and that will generate immediate revenue for Elray as well per the company.  Also, www.goldengalaxy.com was acquired with the same type of deal, and should have further revenue to add to ELRA.

This information shows that Elray Resources has real revenue and with earnings due out this coming week, we should learn more about what has come in so far and to what it expected.  Also, we will learn more about how to annualize these growing revenue streams.

As stated, I rate this stock as a buy and in full disclosure, am long ELRA.

Mining Companies Roar Back on Friday

Friday in the stock market, several mining companies had big days.  MUX, BTG, SVBL, and VALE all had superb days.  Rio Tinto did as well as investors started to get more excited about a commodity outlook that is pending revival in my opinion.  Now is an excellent time to add to or initiate long positions in these stocks. I am long SVBL, VALE, and RIO.

Collecting Baseball Cards

Collecting baseball cards is a great hobby and here are some great ideas for you to start or add to your baseball and sports card collection.  On this page, many things pertinent to collecting cards will be listed as far as organizing your cards, storage, and some of the best sports cards to collect.  Baseball cards have great cards starting with the most valuable baseball card in the world - the 1909 t206 Honus Wagner card followed by the 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle card.  Goudey baseball cards also contain such greats as Babe Ruth and Joe DiMaggio.  I believe that a sports card collection is not complete without football cards, basketball cards, hockey cards and other sports cards as necessary.  The Topps football cards contain famous ones such as a Jim Brown rookie card, Joe Namath, Terry Bradshaw, Joe Montana and Jerry Rice rookie cards along with rookies of Marcus Allen and Dan Marino.  If you follow any link on the sports cards here, it will lead you to more specific articles and product listings for those cards, which can provide helpful resources for you.  Bookmarking this page is a great idea.
There are different ways to store your cards.  You have to consider how much space you need, how much protection you need for your cards (your more expensive cards should be stored in better holders) and many other things.  For individual cards, there is binder storage available, individual card sleeves and holders and storage boxes.  Protecting your cards from damage is a great way to preserve their quality and is a key ingredient in preserving their value and is necessary in order to have cards in great condition.  Cards need to be in as good of condition as possible because as most of us know, the better the condition of your cards, the more they can be worth.
Considering how much space you need for storing your card collection is an idea to think about.  If you are just a personal collector like most of us are, you will not need to go to great lengths on this.  For a business or large collector, even a warehouse or storage area is an option because the cards simply cannot be housed easily.  For a physcal store owner, considering how to organize and store the cards at the physical store can provide a good place for them to have their cards right at their fingertips.  Also available for any type of collector is insurance for the storage of your cards, a relatively new option that is available as a way to preserve their value in case of damages beyond the control of the collector.  I do not know much about this option and would recommend that if someone wants to learn about it, to type it into a Google search to find out more.

Dan Marino rookie cards from 1984 topps are valuable investments to have in your football card collection.  He is one of the greatest rookie cards to have along with John Elway from this era.
Listed on this page you will find many of several rookies currently listed on Ebay.  Make a great choice and with the large selection of similar items, you are assured to have a great opportunity to find one at a great price that is exactly what you are searching for.  the 1984 Topps football card set has many hall of fame cards and the rookies galore make it one that is highly sought after by collectors.  Unopened boxes and packs are great for the serious collector.
When starting a card collection, I believe it is best to just dive in somewhere and start accumulating cards, preferably according to who your favorite players and/or years are at the start, within the boundaries of your budget.
When 1980 Topps cards are being considered, there are baseball, basketball, footballa and hockey cards.  There are some awesome cards in these sets.  For baseball, to start, there is a Rickey Henderson rookie card.  That is the best card in the set and then there are many hall of famers including Nolan Ryan.  In Football, there is a Phil Simms rookie card along with former running back great Otis Anderson.  In basketball, there is one of my favorite cards ever produced which is the Larry Bird and Magic Johnson dual rookie panel card.  Hockey cards have Wayne Gretzky second year cards along with Ray Bourque rookie cards.  A complete set of each would make your collection quite valuable, there is a lot of potential within these sets.  Unopened packs are even more fun.  Listed on this page are 1980 topps items including baseball and basketball cards on ebay.
1986 Topps football cards are highly sought after and valuable.  The set and wax boxes and packs contain Jerry Rice rookie cards, a Steve Young rookie, Reggie White and Bruce Smith rookies, Boomer Esiason, Andre Reed and Bernie Kosar first year cards as well.

Topps Factory Set of complete baseball cards and sports cards is a great investment and has been around for many years.  It is great to have in your collection because it contains all of the cards in the set for that particular year.  Topps is the most famous baseball card company and has been making baseball cards since the 1952 series with Mickey Mantle.

A complete set of Topps factory sealed cards ensures that the cards will be in the best shape and you possibly could even have gem mint cards in there which would bring a premium to their book value.  Some of my favorites include football card sets from the 1980's as well, and baseball ones from that era in factory sealed condition are worth more than hand collated sets.
Do not forget about vintage cards as they are great for any collector.

There are some of the Topps sets for baseball cards that I consider noteworthy.  I really do like them all though, as they appeal to different kinds of collectors, different budgets and, in the long run, have all proven to be worth keeping around.
